SALEM CLINIC
The Salem Outpatient Clinic offers a unique alternative to the general mental health and substance abuse treatment programs common today. It is comprised of highly qualified professionals with diverse backgrounds, expertise and specialized training.

Every client at the Salem Site is offered a variety of services specifically designed to meet their needs. The following treatment modalities are offered:
PROFESSIONAL CONSULTATIONS
Clinicians are available to provide on site consultation to community professionals on a variety of mental health needs. Such as, clinical assessments for clients or trainings on a variety of topics for students, professionals and the public. Consultations are available to schools, judicial system, social service agencies, mental health agencies, hospitals, private practitioners and health clinics.

The specialized treatment services and programs available for clients of all ages and specialty populations:
CROSS CULTURAL PROGRAM
A bicultural/bilingual team of professionals trained to understand the complexities of multicultural populations in the areas of acculturation, immigration, ethnicity and family values, beliefs and traditions. Their specialized training allows them to be culturally sensitive in rendering accurate diagnostic assessments and treatment interventions, which are most effective with multicultural populations. Services are available fo individuals of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
CO-OCCURING DISORDER PROGRAM
This specialized service is comprised of an experienced team of professionals, skilled in treating the complexities of dually diagnosed clients. In addition to traditional modalities of psychotherapy, the program offers an intensive 4 week group during the initial (acute) phase of treatment with a psychoeducational and therapeutic component. Co-occuring disorders typically include a major mental illness and with an addictive disorder.
DISABILITIES PROGRAM
A specialty program that provides services to individuals and their families who are experiencing a wide spectrum of disabilities which include; developmental, organic, physical, learning, mental retardation, acquired and others. Services are available through outpatient care or outreach into the home, school or residential care.
CHILD & FAMILY PROGRAM
The staff of the C&F understand the unique challenges that families are faced with today, with a team of professionals trained in early child, latency, adolescent and family development. Home and school-based treatment available.
ADULT OUTPATIENT SERVICES
These services are available for individuals and families experiencing a wide spectrum of problems. Such as, some may be due to temporary stress from life situations, others might be suffering from a major mental illness. Anxiety, depression, substance abuse, victimization or trauma, are just some of the areas of expertise that you will find at HES.
PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
HES clients in need of pharmacological care have available a variety of psychiatrists with subspecialties in working with numerous populations and treatment disorders. A comprehensive initial assessment is provided as well as ongoing treatment and maintenance services.
INTAKE SERVICES
The multilingual staff from the intake unit is available to take your calls for a comprehensive evaluation of client referrals. HES honors numerous insurance and managed health care plans, as well as sliding scale fees.
