Throughout history people have sought to find substances to reduce or
eliminate the symptoms of illness.
In the past decade huge strides have been made in not only our

Team approach to services to deliver quality care with Licensed professionals.
The Mission of the psychopharmacology division is to decrease the
need for repeat hospitalizations and to assist the client in
developing and maintaining the skills necessary to enhance the
quality of their lives; to educate the clients, families and
significant others about mental illness and medication compliance and
enable families to relate and respond to the client in a holistic manner.
The client, family and significant others are considered full
participants in the process of treatment and rehabilitation.
The psychopharmacology Division is both a treatment and educational intervention.
The education process is built upon the concept of a dialogue with
the client, family and significant others. Staff listening and
learning as well as teaching are essential if mentally disabled
citizens are to assume full participation in community life.
A Psychopharmacology Program is a complement to other basic services
provided: day rehabilitation; crisis services; supportive therapy;
residential; vocational and social programs.
