CAPE ANN ADULT TREATMENT CENTER
Program Description: Cape Ann Adult Treatment Center is a 5 day per week, therapeutic, day treatment program serving people struggling with major mental illness and substance abuse issues. A typical length of treatment is 4 months to 2 years. We facilitate a variety of groups, such as process-oriented group therapy, psycho-education, coping and leisure skills, occupational and expressive therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups. The substance abuse groups focus on both early recovery and maintenance of recovery. All of these groups are designed to help clients achieve an adaptive level of healthy functioning.
We are staffed by an interdisciplinary team of clinicians including psychiatrist, mental health counselors, social workers, occupational therapists, and expressive therapists.
ADMISSION POLICY

Must have a primary mental illness diagnosis.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be able to take responsibility for taking medications as prescribed.

Must have a commitment toward sobriety and recovery.

Must not be acutely homicidal, suicidal, or self injurious.
Program hours: 8:45am- 2:45pm Monday- Friday

Insurance(s) Accepted: We currently only accept Mass Health (Mass Health Standard, MBHP, and Network Health) and Medicaid/Medicare as secondary insurance.
