GMCA is comprised of a task force that unites parents, schools, law enforcement, businesses, youth, faith communities and community groups in the effort to reduce underage drinking.   GMCA Prevention Initiatives:   Alcohol Intervention Methods/T.I.PS. Education and certification for bars restaurants and liquor stores. Community education programs about Social Host Liability Laws. A Safe Homes Program formed to build a network of communication between parents to promote safety and minimize alcohol use among youth. A Sticker Shock Program created to raise awareness of the consequences to legal adults if they provide alcohol to minors. Parent Educational Workshops.   GMCA is funded by the DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse Services.
