SOLSTICE
Solstice is a co-ed, residential, adolescent treatment program located on 5 acres in Rowley. The residential program is contracted by the Department of Mental Health who makes the referrals. Services provided include but are not limited to, individual, family, group and milieu therapy.
On the grounds is a DOE 766 approved school, which welcomes 30 additional students from surrounding cities and towns. The school is operational 250 days a year.
The program provides special education and support services to Middle and High School students with emotional and behavioral problems. The program aims to enrich the lives of students as it strives to build internal controls for safe behavior and self expression, The program is a partnership of students, teachers, therapists, nurses, milieu staff and administrators committed to building academic/social skills, leading to a successful and meaningful future.
