At North Star Adventure we "challenge our clients' direction." Whether an at-risk child or the member of a professional organization, the client will get the opportunity to think constructively about the place they are headed. We create this opportunity through the use of outdoor experiential activities. These activities are designed to challenge groups and individuals by engaging them in problem solving situations, and by asking them to take personal risks. By reflecting carefully upon the activity or experience, our clients are able to get a picture of themselves not easily obtained through traditional counseling or training. We at North Star Adventure feel that accessing an individual's inner direction or a group's internal behavior is most effectively accomplished by engaging participants in an exciting, interactive experience. When engaging the body and mind at once, doors can be opened and perspective achieved that otherwise would remain hidden inside one's usual routine.
