"Quietly serving the underserved"
It is very likely you have never heard of Health & Education Services, Inc. (HES). We have invested very little money or time to gain public recognition. But if you have lived in this area for any length of time, a member of your family, a friend or a neighbor has almost certainly been served by one or more of the 78 programs we operate. You see, while HES has a very low profile, our programs have a very high impact. In fact, we are one of the largest behavioral health and human service organizations in the state of Massachusetts and have been providing critical support to the greater North Shore and Merrimack Valley communities for over 33 years.
We call this effort the Tapestry Campaign because HES is comprised of a complex fabric of services and programs. The lives of the people we help from the very young to the very old themselves weave a rich and complex pattern. Our highly varied behavioral health and human service programs address problems and needs that do not respect age, social status, nationality, gender or income. The stories in this brochure offer some hint of the diversity of the programs we offer and the people we care for, and of the range and enormity of their needs.
I would personally like to thank you for taking the time to discover a little more about us: our mission and our people. On behalf of all of us here at HES, I ask for your support.
Paul C. OShea President & CEO Health & Education Services, Inc.
